As a company we pride ourselves on a professional and friendly service from the moment initial contact is made, through project design and execution. Repeat business is an integral part of our sales strategy, testimony to our ability to achieve all aspects of a brief on time and on budget. Based in Crosshills near Skipton, Yorkshire, our purpose built workshops and offices have close links with the major motorways and this has seen us install projects as far a field as Elgin, Northern Scotland right down to Cornwall. Our furniture can also be seen in Dubai where we supplied a series of boardroom tables and Gibraltar Law Courts in which we completed the full design, manufacture and installation of several courtrooms.

Working closely with architects, principal contractors and end user’s, we often get involved in the evolving stages of a project.

We ensure nothing is compromised in the form and function of individual items of furniture throughout the design, manufacture and installation processes. As our title suggests we produce all of our working drawings and visuals in house, being meticulous in every detail.

Operating out of four purpose built units with over 40,000 square feet of manufacturing space, we are able to successfully manage the most complex of bespoke furniture requirements. Our experienced project/contracts coordinators, bench joiners and installation teams ensure a smooth transition from the workshop to final locations.

Bespoke furniture

Every piece of bespoke furniture is manufactured in our purpose-built workshops. Working with an extensive range of natural and man-made materials, our in-house team of craftsmen and cabinet makers pride themselves on each item that leaves the shop floor. Great care is taken from the outset, from the selection of veneers to the matching of the hardwood edges and cappings.

Shop fitting

Bespoke furniture and specialist joinery go hand in hand with the shop fitting side of our business. Work has been undertaken in the fashion/retail and financial sectors. Our service covers both small and large requirements, from initial design proposals to full project management, and refurbishments to new flagship outlets.

Specialist joinery

Being able to integrate the furniture element with any specialist joinery requirements during a fit-out project is an essential part of the service we offer. Our teams of site fixers always liaise closely with the manufacturing side of the business throughout every project. Controlling everything in-house means all of this can be done within the short time constraints stipulated with this type of work.

Design

Our work involves both new build and refurbishment projects, careful, considerate and clever design is crucial in the early stages when a brief has been formulated. Extensive experience in furniture, joinery and interior design backed up by a wealth of manufacturing know how means all Carey’s design proposals are visually impressive and of the highest quality.
