Freddie Watson’s journey with J Carey Design began at Ilkley Grammar School, where he first worked with us on the One Sheet Challenge. Fast forward to today, and he has just completed his first solo build as a Year 2 apprentice – an incredible achievement!
Reflecting on this milestone, Freddie shared:
“It was really nice to put the skills I’ve learnt over the last two and a half years into practice and see a job through from start to finish on my own for the first time.”
Mark Clarkson, our Workshop Manager, added:
“Freddie’s hard work and attention to detail haven’t gone unnoticed, and we’re looking forward to seeing him continue to progress as he completes his training. Keep up the great work Freddie.”
From school to apprenticeship, Freddie has developed his skills, gained valuable experience, and become a key part of our team.
